Shun is a gifted artist and makes a room smile when she smiles. She has a keen sense of how to create something beautiful out of nothing. That creativity carries over into how she manages her family, her school work in Woodlawn, and her leadership in the Five Loaves venture team.
Terrez is serious about the art of cooking and is putting his resources and time into pursuing his dream of becoming a chef. He is attending culinary school and recently opened a new location for a cutting edge local restaurant to refine the skills that he needs to reach his dreams.
Tim is that leader that steadies the entire group. A gifted artist and thoughtful planner, Tim keeps the organization on track and yet adds the laughter that makes the cooking fun and delicious.
Mahagany has a smile and a laugh that can light up any room but her seriousness as a leader within Five Loaves has offered her the opportunity to be an ambassador for the evolution of Birmingham and she is constantly working to welcome new members to our team. She recently began a job as a lead within a local restaurant that is innovating lighter fare.
Kionna is a Senior at Woodlawn High School and also part of our sister venture, Fish Camp Films. She continues to contribute her skills to the Five Loaves venture, even in the midst of juggling school work and other activities in Woodlawn.
Tony is a dedicated friend and ally that makes the entire team stronger by being in it. He knows how he feels about something and is not afraid to make tough decisions which has been critical to what he has offered to the Five Loaves team thus far.
Charles has a quiet manner and a strong heart. The first time you meet him his smile fills the room but then you realize the depth that exists behind that smile and you know that he is a young man that offers important things for others to hear. He points to Five Loaves as the place where he learned to be a leader and now he is starting a special training program with Job Corps and then will be coming back to take his place within the team again.
LC has been with Five Loaves since the start but after developing skill in food and business, he joined the Job Corps and has been trained to begin a new career. With his recent return to Birmingham he has rejoined the team.
